Year 7 Melbourne Museum/IMAX Excursion

The year 7 humanities classes had an excursion to the Melbourne Museum/IMAX as part of their Ancient Egypt historical studies. The girls were captivated with a film portraying life in Ancient Egyptian times with a main focus on the powerful pharaoh Remises the second. The girls received an insight into the mummification and burial processes undertaken in Ancient Egyptian times. Next, they explored the museum looking at different exhibitions including the 600 million years, a load of old rubbish, forest gallery and Melbourne story exhibition. All in all, it was an insightful learning experience for students and teachers!
